In order to restore the stricken areas, it is sufficient to clarify issues and find solutions through the continuing research study of regional industries and communities, and develop human resources capable of making innovation happen.

The Regional Innovation Research Center will continuously work on the research study and development of human resources to support the restoration of industries and communities in the Tohoku region, by conducting 1) the Regional Industry Restoration Research Project and 2) the Regional Innovation Producer School.
